1.Effectiveness of desander louvers: The test recorded each air volume and current air velocity, total sand injection volume, and total sand disposal volume.
2.Rating: The sand removal efficiency of the desander louver under each airflow is defined as: the sand prevention performance of the louver is the ratio of the weight of sand and dust discharged by the louver to the total weight of injected sand and dust。

The specification shown in Table 2 matches very closely desert type sand and dust, and illustrates an overall grade. Other grades of sand can also be used for the tests and are specified as follows:
a) FINE - sand between 106 and 150 um. b) COARSE - sand between 355 and 425 um.
